We made five trips down river, hosted pastors and missionaries in our home, participated in four sessions of the monthly gathering of Rayaka Bible Institute, introduced Frank Kane and his master puppetry skills to Tamira Urbina and the lower Coco River, celebrated the Day of the Bible and Independence Day with our Miskito peeps, traveled to the mountainous region of Matagalpa for the month of October so Tom could focus on finishing his memoir without distraction, prayed from afar through the traumatic death of my Dad, then flew back to Colorado to heal with my family and celebrate his life while Tom returned to Waspam to accompany the “Bridge to Grace” mission team on their 3rd trip downriver this year. Each of these activities contained the ingredients needed to promote growth for everyone involved, on all levels, and to give a deep sense of satisfaction. God is good, all the time!
